Funtrail West

Funtrail West is a project a project we initially launched to showcase my work. I bought a van to use for my Ironman triathlons and training. Initially the project’s aim was to provide helpful information about building the van and its features, as well as insights into how I used IronVan for my training and preparation required for Ironman competitions.

Our first van, IronVan was designed and built in our garage and driveway. We designed it for travel to triathlon races and Ironman events, and for rentals. We opened our shop two years ago and have built 11 vans. Our focus is on inexpensive builds, typically less than $50,000 for the conversion.

We provide advice and recommendations based on what you plan to do with your van, and can accommodate a range of requirements and customization, installation of windows, flares, interiors, power systems  and suspension modifications and lifts from Van Compass.
