STORY
Co-founder and CTO Jason Gilbraith spent years researching off-grid and four-season camper van technology before building his own. He lived full-time out of his Mercedes Sprinter in Colorado, while running his drone videography company out of the van, and skiing the Rocky Mountains.

It was in February, at at a snow kiting event in Garrison, MN, that Ben Gleason, co-founder and CEO, first saw Jason’s van winter camping on the middle of a lake in -20 degrees actual temp. With Gilbraith’s technical expertise and Gleason’s business acumen, Vanna Adventure Vans was launched in 2020 with the goal of building the next generation of camper vans and bringing the worlds most advanced off-grid technology to the mobility industry and camper van market.

Since then Vanna has grown their team, facilities, and began building vans for other industries, as well with their MMU Medical Van line and the MKC Mobile Recruitment Classroom.

How long does it take to get a van?

Our lead times are always fluctuating based on the line of orders we have to build. Typical lead time to get your van started, is 1-3 months. Then to build, typically ranges between 8 and 16 weeks depending on when and what you build.
Total lead time with design and build, is currently 4-6 months.

How much does it cost to build a Vanna camper van?

Vanna vans are fully custom, so total pricing depends on your van chassis and the features you choose.
Most of our customers spend between $170,000 – $230,000 all-in, including both the van and the full conversion.
Camper van conversions start at $38,000 — this covers the custom build.
Van chassis cost ranges from $57,000 – $80,000, depending on your selection (Ford or Mercedes) and features like AWD, EcoBoost, or a Tow Package.
100% financing is available, with estimated payments starting around $1,050/month, subject to credit approval and underwriting.

Do you offer financing?

Yes, we offer financing. Currently, their RV and Camper loan programs include:

Terms from 60 to 240 months
570+ credit score requirement*
10% down payment required, $0 down payment options available for credit scores 700+.
Rates are dependent on the current market, credit, and underwriting, but are standard market rates.

Do we sell the van chassis' themselves?

Yes, we do sell the van chassis. We can match you with the van you are looking for!
Finding the right van chassis can be hard, and we like to make this step easy for our clients.

Do Vanna vans need a generator?

Our vans don’t require a generator. We use a large smart lithium battery bank, that recharges both from solar panels, as well as the engines alternator.
For large power systems, we install a second alternator under the hood for rapid recharging.

Can you use them in the winter?

Yes, Vanna vans are rated for true four season use. Vanna’s four season vans are rated to -20 F, so that you can adventure all year round.

Does Vanna build and rent camper vans?

Yes! Vanna custom builds camper vans, and also offers camper van rentals out of West Fargo, ND. You can book a camper van rental instantly on our website by clicking “Rent” and “Book A Van” on the top menu.
