Pop-up Truck Camper (Caribou Lite 6.5)

About the camper:

Custom built new in May 2023 from Outfitter Manufacturing in Colorado. They’re a small company, and their campers are really well thought-out. Husband and I traveled the US and Canada for 14 months in this puppy – rain, snow, disgustingly humid, freezing, desert, rainforest, and even New Jersey. Hard to let it go, but our Trip of our Lifetime Twenties is over and we want it to get continued use from someone(s) else. It’s currently being stored in Concord, VT (since September ’24), and was successfully winterized since November. We popped it up a few weeks ago this May and did a full check – everything’s in tip top shape!

• Main bed has a North/South KING bed configuration over the cab. (Don’t want to touch the person next to you in a small space? With this camper, you don’t have to!)
• Under-bed storage with hydraulic lift assist
• Vented windows, one each on either side of the bed
• Actual vent with fan on ceiling
• Ceiling mounted light and CO detector
• Don’t even want to share the same BED with that person? You don’t event have to do THAT! That’s right, we have a stealth twin bed that can be converted in the dinette area. Ta-da!

Eating & Heating

• 3-burner propane stove
• Fridge with small freezer section, also runs on propane
• Sink & storage under the sink (THERE IS NO GREY WATER TANK, HOWEVER – we have a simple enough hack we can teach ya to be self-contained when you’d need to be. We never had an issue with campgrounds/HarvestHost with this setup)
• Utensil drawer
• Booth style-dinette with positionable table and beauteous UV-reflecting picture window with sliding door, screen, and curtains
• Overhead cabinets with underneath light
• Window over the sink and over dinette
• Pass-through window to the cab (lets you see behind you when you’re driving)
• Second overhead vent with fan
• Propane furnace & adjustable thermostat
• Smoke detector

Hygiene & Water

• There is a pop-up vanity over the fridge with shallow storage space and a mirror
• Exterior water fill port
• Cassette toilet cabinet with separate water for flush & dedicated black water tank
• We added a hook to the outside of the camper to hold a sun shower up

• Screen door with pass-through window

• Pops up in about 2 minutes
