I bought and built out a sprinter for my company and a client I needed it for and I’m not longer working with the client so I’m considering selling (though I’m not happy about it at all). I was able to get one of the very last V6 diesel 4×4 models at the end of 2022 and I’ve got about 90% of the things I want done to it complete. I built it very modular because part of my job included transporting motorcycles often, so it’s designed that everything can be removed and motorcycles can be loaded in and tied down, or that it can be filled with beds and chairs and tables and all the things you’d need for the road trip of a lifetime (I just drove it to the tip of Baja and back). My personal philosophy has been not to go too overboard, so I skipped the bathroom and kitchen because bringing camp stoves is plenty easy. I did have a Dometic powered cooler in it, but it was unfortunately stolen from my buddies garage when he used it to transport things. The van has had zero issues and has received all of its scheduled maintenance by Mercedes Sprinter Van Specific dealers in Orange County. It currently has: – Adventure Wagon interior with bed, electrical, interior lights, two fans, two bunk windows all installed at AdWag HQ in Oregon – The Smart Floor modular floor system and two Smart Floor Seats – Owl Talon wheels wrapped in Toyo Open Country AT3 tires – VanCompass Stage 4.3 suspensions system – VanWife Headliner Shelf w/Curtain rod and curtain divider – Owl Vans Beatbox stereo upgrade – Owl Vans big tire kit – Terrawagon hood spoiler – VanCompass Rear Tug Step – Van Mart Defender Bumper – VanSpeed Aero Rood Rack – VanSpeed Side Steps – VanSpeed Skid Plate – VanSpeed Sprinter Mule Carriers on left and right side – VanSpeed Mule Boxes (2), both with Sprinter Mule Flip Down Tray – RB Components table – Adventure Wagon Mule Bag – Yeti 3000x Portable Power Station (wired into all van outlets, fans, lights – all plugged into van’s alternator to charge while running as well as solar on roof) – 2 x Nacho Lights Grande Supreme 100s mounted to grill – 2 x Baja Designs Squadron added as fog lights – 6 x Baja Designs S1 lights attached to roof rack (three pointing down over the passenger side, two facing off the back, and one facing left over the driver door) – Custom SwitchPros light control panel installed above rear view mirror – Additional driver side passenger window installed by MARS Ready – Renntech Sprinter Van Tune installed by MARS READY – Pedal Control 2.0 installed by MARS READY – Full tint, including windshield, done by Tint Pros in Costa Mesa – Additional insulation and sound dampening installed by MARS READY – Mid City Engineering alarm system with sensors for shock, tilt, movement, or glass breaking – Wolfbox rearview camera system with two additional forward facing cameras. total investment (in addition to the van itself): $74,983 The van is currently ready for any adventure, but is also still enough of a blank slate that you can add more to it if you like a van that is more built out. I have not impacted to the space to add extra fuel tanks or clean and gray water, there are many systems of cabinets that connect directly into the AdWag and Smart Floor system, and the Yeti make plenty of power to cover anything else you might want to add.
